Our process
Producing strong and healthy chicks is a precise job. Take a look at the different stages of our hatching process to see how it works.
Hatching Process
1
Receiving Eggs
Once the eggs arrive at our hatchery, they are unloaded and stored in a climate-controlled room for a short period.

Pre-warming
Eggs to be set are placed in trays and kept in the setter hall for 6 hours. The temperature in our setting hall is maintained at 26 degrees celsius.

Candling
Candling is a process of separating fertilized eggs from non-fertilized eggs. Only fertile eggs are allowed into the hatchers.

Incubation
In order to ensure the highest standards of bio-security, we follow the single stage incubation process. We set our eggs on Day Zero and transfer our eggs on Day 18.

Hatching
Our hatching process runs from Day 18 to Day 21. Our chicks are graded by hand, packed into boxes and delivered to our customers.
